Ken Auster Kaua'i Workshop
We will meet at 8:30 am at Saim Caglayan Studio at 5810 Kahiliholo Road in Kilauea. After the orientation each day we will head out to North Shore locations, Hanalei Bay, Anini Beach, Kee Beach, Kalihiwai Bay. On rainy days we'll paint the figure or do still life paintings.

Peggy Immel – Painting Winter Landscapes in Oil – Plein Air to Studio
This three day workshop takes place in the historic studio of E.L. Blumenschein in Taos, New Mexico and will include plein air sessions on the grounds of the Blumenschein home and museum. The focus of the workshop is to familiarize participants with processes they can use and adapt to their own work for painting winter landscapes. Topics covered include landscape composition and technique, painting en plein air in the winter environment, developing useful field studies for studio reference and studio processes for landscape work. We will work both en plein air and in the studio environment during the workshop. Each day will include instructor demonstrations and individual attention for each workshop participant. Class size is limited to ten and all levels of oil painters are welcome.
