Carol Swinney’s painting “Valley View” a 12” x 9” oil, won Best in Show at the “2009 Tucson Plein Air Painter’s Artist Member Show” in March 2009.
Carol has been juried into the “2nd Annual Wyoming Plein Air 2009” to be held August 15th through September 30th at the Link Gallery and Deselms Fine Art in Cheyenne, WY.
Carol will be participating in “Western Visions Miniatures and More 2009” show and sale. The event is held September 17-18th at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, WY.

Greg LaRock won both 1st place in the quick draw and the overall competition at the 2009 Paint San Clemente Event. "A Chance of Rain" was Greg's submission for the 3 hour quick draw depicting the San Clemente pier. "Crystal Rocks" took the grand prize award after the week-long competition. www.greglarock.com

Peggy Immel’s oil painting, “Lingering Winter” was awarded an Honorable Mention at the Nomadas del Arte national juried exhibition held April 3 April 30 at the Southwest Gallery in Dallas, Texas. The exhibition featured four hundred paintings completed at any time during the 2008 calendar year in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas or Utah by two hundred plein air painters.

Carol Swinney’s painting “Morning Along the Wash” won an Award of Excellence at the 2009 “Nomadas Del Arte” Show and Sale held April 1st through the 30th at Southwest Gallery in Dallas, Texas.
Carol participated in the 2009 “Cowgirl up! Art from the Other Half of the West” show, held March 27th through May 3rd at the Desert Caballeros Western Museum in Wickenburg, Arizona.
Carol is one of seven invited artists for the Outdoor Painters Society’s “Plein Air Southwest 2009” event being held at Southwest Gallery in Dallas, Texas. The show and reception will be held December 4th and 5th with a dinner, reception and awards ceremony including a $5000 Purchase Award.

Eli Cedrone received Honorable Mention from Portrait Society of America. For the second year in a row, Boston based artist Eli Cedrone has garnered an award in the PSA's Members Showcase Competition. Last year, her portrait titled, "Dalena" won 3rd Place in the same competition. The winning painting "Rouge et Noir" was also accepted for inclusion in the Oil Painter's of America, Eastern Regional Exhibition, which was held in November at Corse Gallery in Jacksonville Florida.

Larry Cannon will be exhibiting in a solo show in commemoration of the 20th Anniversary of the Irvine Barclay Theatre for which Larry was the architect.
